All classes and class options (Membership/Drop-In) are available for purchase through our website and booking system. Please note, all purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable to other clients.
Registrations for classes open 90 days before the event starts, allowing you ample time to secure your spot.
For all DROP INS/PRIVATES a 12 hour cancellation notice period applies, this will ensure a class credit is added to your account. This credit must be used within 30 days. Failure to provide notice to cancel outwith 12 hours will see the class credit forfeited.
We recommend arriving at least 5-10 minutes before your class starts. There is a waiting area outside the studio where you can relax before your session.
Please arrive on time for your class. If you are late to class, you may be refused entry, and no class credit will be given. This ensures that all clients receive the full benefit of the warm-up, class, and the instructor’s expertise and coaching. The doors will close 1 minute after the class start time; if you arrive later than this, you may be refused entry, and no class credit will be given.

Yes, we offer free parking for all members and guests.
Please note that our car park is now monitored by Park Maven, so you must register your vehicle on the iPad at reception before your class.
Failure to register (or entering the wrong registration) may result in a parking ticket. If this happens, you can appeal directly to Park Maven using the details on the notice and by providing proof of class attendance (such as your booking confirmation).

sóma is easily accessible by various modes of transport. If you're driving, you can use our free on-site parking. Several bus routes also service the area, with stops located nearby for your convenience. The nearest tram stop, Edinburgh Park Station, is just a 10-minute walk away, providing quick access from various parts of Edinburgh.
We recommend wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Grip socks are mandatory for all classes. Additionally, avoid wearing leggings with zips, which can also cause damage to the equipment.
Please do not arrive to class with a large jacket/bag. Each client has access to their own box, this is big enough for shoes, keys and small belongings. There is nowhere to store large puffy jackets and other large items.
Yes, grip socks are mandatory for all classes. If you do not have grip socks, you can purchase them from your instructor. Failure to wear or purchase grip socks will result in being turned away, and no class credit will be offered. Grip socks are essential for a safer and more effective Pilates experience.
No, you don’t need to bring any equipment as everything is provided at sóma. Just bring a water bottle and a towel if you'd like!
A 30 day cancellation notice period applies for all memberships. A 30 day notification is required should you wish to downgrade your membership.
No, please refrain from wearing body oil or moisturiser before class, as it can damage the leather on the reformer beds.
